Many things were born in the '800 with the industrialization of textile industry, among these, our company: SCHOCH, founded in B?tschwil, in the Canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland, was already producing weaving reeds with metal dents in the first half of the century.
With the arrival of the Swiss textile industry in Italy, ALFREDO SCHOCH, one of the sons of the founder of the Swiss company, created in 1907 a new factory in Ranica (Bergamo) for the production of the reeds necessary for warping and weaving machines.
Today the company SCHOCH & C. S.r.l. still carries the name of its founder and is led by his grandson ANTONIO and great-grandson MATTEO SCHOCH.
