ELCA history begins more than 26 years ago, according to the TV incoming affirmation in Italy.
Knew for its matrix switchers, nowadays ELCA can boast a wide range of proposals both on the national and international markets.
Established in 1978, the first ELCA equipment was introduced on December 1979: it was the SR15 Super RegiaŽ matrix switcher.
Thanks to such a product, ELCA entered the broadcast world marked in that period by an increasing demand for innovative equipment to implement more complex and sophisticated systems.
Afterwards the Company addressed its research towards other lines of business, proposing equipment for broadcast applications, like logo generators, character generators, video/clock generators and teletext systems.
Thanks to the aimed experience, ELCA is today able to offer a wide range of products made of 80 different models of equipment for the national and private broadcast sectors as well as several collateral ones, in the fields of production, post-production, CCTV systems, video-conference and congress halls.

As originally, the Company is still structured on its own design lab. where new products are developed and every hardware, software and testing sides are considered as well, necessary for the further manufacturing process.
Being high technology electronic equipment, for non-consumer users, even the assembling is performed entirely inside the Company guaranteeing the best organizational flexibility. The quality of the products and the great care placed in the whole production cycle assure spread competitiveness and the application of favourable marketing conditions.
ELCA is widely affirmed in the Italian market where "no TV Broadcast station can be without one of the ELCA products"; now the Company is embarking on new marketing investments abroad, at international level where ELCA is already working from several years.
